Hello Everyone

I think they call it Sod’s Law!

I hope your day got off to a drier start than mine! I woke up to the sound of torrential rain; we adorned wellies, waterproof coats and umbrellas and delivered 3 soggy, wet children to school. And now as I write this, it is beautifully sunny. I believe that is called Sod’s Law!

So, it is the first of October and it is definitely feeling autumnal and as I polished my conker coloured leather ankle boots I thought to myself – I actually quite like autumn.

Let’s admit it, crochet is not massively a summer craft. Don’t get me wrong, I crochet all year round and love it but it is much nicer crocheting on an autumn evening as the blanket gets longer and longer and covers your legs.

I don’t want to get all spammy but I am super proud of my new way to help people get started on their crochet journey. My mission is to help as many people learn to crochet as possible. I honestly feel there are so many benefits: relaxation, mindfulness and the joy gained from creating something beautiful for yourself, your home, a gift or even to sell.

I now proudly offer crochet kits which include all you would expect in a beginner kit (hook, yarn, pattern) but also access to your own mini-course. This online tutorial takes you step-by-step through the most important aspects of learning to crochet so that even if you have never picked up a hook and yarn before you will be able to complete your project from start to finish. I even walk you through the whole pattern, how to finish off and how to weave in the ends.

I would love to know what you think, you can reply to this email.

Have a great weekend – happy hooking!
